Domestic and Sexual Violence Helplines

Aims of the project

This project delivers specialist, integrated helpline services for all survivors of domestic and sexual violence throughout London providing immediate practical and emotional support as well as signposting to other support services.

This project will monitor access to refuge services to support the future development of provision in London.

The National Domestic Violence Helpline (NDVHL) is a 24 hour Freephone run in partnership between Women’s Aid and Refuge, that provides emotional and practical support to women and children experiencing domestic violence.

WGN Sexual Violence Helpline provides counselling and support for women and girls who have experienced gender violence.

RASASC  provides a Pan-London telephone support and information service to female survivors of sexual violence, including rape, childhood sexual abuse and ritual abuse and those supporting them. The Helpline provides this support every day of the year and staffed by fully trained and experienced helpline workers
