Who is it for?

Organisations that already have a partnership in mind and want to learn how to put it into practice.

Module 1 

What’s it about?

This module follows on from ‘Partnerships-getting off to a good start’ giving more attention to the actual setting up a partnership. It will consider the different structures a partnership might take and experience of drawing up a partnership agreement. This module also offers tools for agreeing a partnership strategy including risk assessment, defining clear roles and responsibilities, legal requirements and exit strategy.

What will I take away?

  • Understanding of the different structures a partnership can take
  • Templates of partnership agreements
  • A detailed tool to agree a partnership strategy

Module 2 [1-4pm]

What’s it about?

Module 2 covers how partnerships tick and it offers a comprehensive introduction into the causes of interpersonal conflicts and offers strategies for conflict management resolutions. The module has a very practical focus and will enable participants to explore in some detail some of the challenges you may face or that may arise, particularly those related to smaller organisations partnering with larger ones.

What will I take away?

  • Understanding how partnerships work
  • Understanding the causes of interpersonal conflicts and how to solve them
  • Practical tools and strategies for solving challenges you may face/that may arise in partnership work
