EACH Counselling and Support (EACH) was established in 1991 to provide specialist services to individuals and family members affected by alcohol and drug problems, domestic violence and mental health issues.  EACH operates across West London

In 2003, EACH set up Pukaar a specialist counselling and support service for Asian women and girls affected by domestic violence and abuse  and experiencing cultural and linguistic barriers to seeking help. Pukaar provides culturally sensitive therapeutic interventions to women on all forms of gendered violence and on the interconnected issues of domestic and sexual violence, mental health and substance misuse to support sustainable recovery.

EACH operates across  West London and provides the following services:

  • One to One Counselling  in a number of  community languages
  • Structured day programme(abstinence based)
  • Open groups for those contemplating abstinence
  • Family Therapy
  • Family and carer support
  • Outreach and engagement
  • A young people’s substance misuse service
  • A specialist khat service for members of the Somali community
  • A user led mental health resource
  • A range of  accredited training programmes relating to substance misuse, Peer volunteers skills, BMER women experiencing Domestic violence, mental health  and substance misuse

EACH’s role within the consortium

EACH Counselling and Support (EACH) is delivering services under the Advice and Counselling project in 8 London boroughs – Hounslow, Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Richmond upon Thames, Kingston, Wandsworth and Merton.  Services includes :

  • Specialist 1:1 counselling in Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Panjabi and English
  • group work both specialist and generic across
