Organisation: Woman’s Trust
Job title: Data Monitoring and Evaluation Intern
Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: £10, 646 (£17, 745 pro rata)
Domestic abuse takes many forms, some visible, some invisible. What we know is that it pervades our society and has a debilitating impact on those affected. Woman’s Trust provides different types of therapeutic support to women to help them overcome abuse. In doing so we collect data to help show how women have been affected by abuse and the impact of our services on them. We share this data with policy makers and service providers, with funders and with the general public, to try and improve support to women, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
If you are skilled on Microsoft Excel and Access and enjoy analysing data we want to hear from you. We would like to offer you the opportunity of a Data Monitoring and Evaluation Internship for a minimum of 6 months. In this time you will have the opportunity to learn more about domestic violence, about data analysis and application, and about the voluntary sector. You will leave with a solid grounding in the field and sector. We only ask that you have as minimum, a good degree.
Your job will be to collect and analyse Woman’s Trust quantitative and qualitative data and help demonstrate the needs of our client group, and the impact of our work. You will support Woman’s Trust in maintaining its data collection systems and databases. Support and guidance will be provided.
This internship will pay the London Living Wage of £9.75 per hour, on a part time week of 21 hours. The position is also open only to female candidates. The start date will be October/November.
